The South Australia Council meets at 5.30pm in weeks 3 and 7 of each term at ALEA’s National Office, English House, 416 Magill Road, Kensington. We invite you to become a part of this vibrant group of educators. New members to ALEA are always welcome!
 
 
 
 
 
 
ALEA (SA) Conference - 16 April 2010
"Language, Literature and Literacy in a Multiliterate World"

ALEA South Australia invites you to our annual Conference to be held on Friday, 16 April 2010.  The Conference will feature keynote speakers:

David Hornsby - bringing his extensive knowledge of early and middle years to a keynote and workshop focusing on literature in the curriculum with a focus on the emerging Australian Curriculum
 
Trevor Cairney - who will share his interest and deep knowledge of children's comprehension with a keynote and workshop that investigates the comprehension that students need in this multiliterate world.
 
Venue:  The Monastery Conference Centre, 15 Cross Road, Glen Osmond
Discounted registration fee for members and students.  Non-members welcome.
