The ALEA Mackay local council thanks:·
- Rio Tinto for approving a Hail Creek Mine Community grant application to
help fund the ‘Passion for Poetry’ project, centred on bringing literacy
consultant and author, Mandy Tunica, to our region in Term 3.
- The Mackay Regional Council for approving a Regional Arts Development
Fund grant application to help fund the ‘Power of Narrative’ project, centred on
bringing the highly acclaimed author for children and young adults, Mark
Svensden, to our region in Term 4.
