Children’s literature laureates commemorated International Literacy Day (ILD) on 8 September 2024

Under the guidance of Kelly Taylor, ALEA State Director – Western Australia, The Australian Literacy Educators’ Association (ALEA) in collaboration with the Australian Children’s Laureate Foundation (ACLF), Children’s Books Ireland, and the Book Trust – Waterstones Children’s Laureate created a video to celebrate the ILD in 2024. The video would be useful as a prompt for professional conversations in education settings.
